She's Married!

After this weekend Lori's wedding is officially over.

It's always a blast to be with my family.

And, I got to visit with people I haven't seen in so long.

It was great!

Reorganize!

In an attempt to create a more organized life I have decided to make a few changes throughout my house. This was a project I quickly did this afternoon and I think it is going to help my bathroom look more tidy and give me a few extra min. when I am getting ready each day. Plus while the shelf was cleared I did some much needed scrubbing of the window sill and track.

It is so easy to just take off my jewlery or hair clips and bands and just throw them on the ledge. Convenient, but cluttered.

So, I went to a couple antique stores and picked up some inexpensive, but interesting bowls and dishes. I looked for items that didn't look to "kitcheny" (made that word up.)

Now everything is easy to get to, quick to put away, and not so messy looking.

I plan on moving throughout the house and continuing my organization, so if you have any tips or ideas please share.

Stalling!

I'm supposed to be busy packing for my sisters wedding, but..... I'm stalling. I don't know why. I'm excited. It is going to be a fun weekend, but I just feel the urge to sit and do nothing. Nothing except think about how I want to organize everything going on my new bookshelfs.

And decide how best to use these new, cute little bowls.

And how much fun we have been having making smores in the house with this cute Christmas gift from some friends.

Ok, I better get busy. I think I'm stalling because I know once I start I won't be stopping until at least Sunday.

Scrabble to Showers to Shelfs

Tonight we played Scrabble and these were my first 7 letters. Ummm! Not much to work with. Damon won!

On Friday we went to the temple with my sister and then back to my house for her Bridal Shower. I experimented with some of the decorations I am using for the reception. The party was so much fun.

Last week Tyler and I spent most of our time in the garage working on this project. I am so excited about it and Iwill post more updates later.
