Tag, You're It

The Rules:

Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves. At the end of the post the player then tags six people and posts their names then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Have fun!

1. My favorite breakfast is pancakes and fried eggs, when I have the time. When I don't Damon and I like old fashioned oatmeal (not the quick oats) with cinnamon, rasins, and pecans, fast and so yummy.
2. I have negative feelings about worrying about the people I love. I worry way too much.
3. When I was little, I used to, like JaCeelyn worry myself sick (maybe we should start a support group). However, when I wasn't worrying about something silly (I had no idea the things adults have to be concerned with) I also loved cooking with my mom and playing games with my dad and siblings. I learned so much from both of my parents and have lots of memories from when I was young. Oh, I also loved watching "Full House" with my family every Friday night. We would race downstairs with our dinner and never missed an episode. Good times! Anybody else do that?
4. I love so many things, but if you want the really less sentimental things here it is. I love bags. I am always looking at them and talking myself out of buying anymore. Tyler tries to compare his love of guns, and buying them with my bags. I don't think so. There is quite the price difference there. He will continue to try, but I will never buy it.
5. I'm a sucker for... hmmmm. I can't really think of anything really good. I would say I do let Tyler get his way a little more than I should. He just has a way of getting what he wants. His mom says he was always like that growing up too. She says he never got in much trouble because he would just smile and not say much. He is very tricky.
6. I absolutely love getting a lot accomplished. If I ever have a dead line or just a lot to do I have to make a list for myself. That I don't love so much, but crossing things off feels really good.

State Cross Country

We had such a good day at the State Cross Country meet. Ryan did so well. We are very proud of him for taking second place overall. Both the boys and girls took first place as a team which is so exciting. They all did so well. Dad does such a good job and really gets nervous and excited for all of his runners. He is the best coach ever, and I speak from experience. Love you, Dad!!!Here we are with Ryan. I always like to get pictures and have to beg him to be in them with us.
While at the meet, Damon really enjoyed the beautiful weather. It was such a nice fall day. Damon really wanted to get up in this tree so I got a picture. Yes the glasses are mine. He left his in the car and then complained about the sun being in his face, what was I to do?
We went to Red Lobster to celebrate. Damon did such a great job cutting his salad with a butterknife and fork.

Damon was very silly today. I think the excitement really rubbed off on him. He is also very excited to have a new cousin. She lives in Iowa so we won't see her until Christmas, but he likes to look at pictures of her on the internet. He asked if he could call her his sister. He keeps saying how cute she is. Her name is Mylee and she was born on this last Wed. (Oct. 24).We can't wait to meet her. Christmas seems so far away.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to a Corn Maze\Pumpkin Patch today for Preschool. Damon had so much fun running around and playing with all the cats. This one followed us through the whole maze.
Damon was excited to sit in the big tractor.
In here we got to pick out a pumpkin and take it home, however Damon was obviously much more excited about the cats.

And here is another little tractor. The lady gave the kids a ride in the trailor. They had so much fun and the weather was beautiful (we went here last year and it was so cold it almost wasn't fun.)

Snow?

This is the third time it has snowed already this year. What is going on with the weather. It is crazy, it is almost like being back home again.

Football

Here is Taylor after his final football game of the year. He did very well and we had fun watching, even though I thought we would freeze. Brrrrrrr!

Day at the Mall

Ryan got a 'fro-hawk, which was soon after cut off, Damon and Grandma played hide-and-seek, and we enjoyed the swarm of kids that usually fills the Playplace on a cold Saturday. We had fun.

Gameboy

So I guess it looks like we are big video game people. We really aren't. Much to my dismay and Damon delight, Taylor left his game boy here last week. Damon wanted to play it all the time. I kept expecting the battery to go dead or something, but it never did. I have to say I am glad it has made it back home.

Guitar Hero

One night I had to leave for a few min. When I got home Damon was teaching Grandma Mona how to play Guitar Hero. It was so funny and not what I expected them to be doing at all. I had to get a picture.

Halo

A couple weeks ago Tyler entered a Halo tourny. Here he is in our basement practicing here. I was laughing at him all night. He was taking it so seriously. He planned what he should eat before he left and all the things he should do leading up to the game. It was like me preparing for a race. It was really funny!

Terk

I can't believe I haven't posted a picture of my dog Terk, yet. He sometimes, well most of the time, drives Tyler crazy, but we love him.

A Day At The Park

It is so nice to enjoy the cool, fall weather for a change. I just hope it last a while and winter doesn't come too quickly.

Hard At Work

Tyler is always in the middle of some project, and Damon wants nothing more than to be right in the middle of it. He is such a big helper.

Hungry Tummy

Damon was very hungry one night just before bed, as usual. I was busy doing something and told him to get out the stuff for a sandwich. When I looked at him again he was busy eating and very proud of himself. I was very excited to. He did such a great job, I had to get a picture. He is really growing up.

Willows

We made these braclets out of willow branches while at one of Ryan's races.

Cross Country

We have had a lot of fun cheering for Ryan this Cross Country season. Sometimes I almost miss it. But then I come to my senses. Just kidding, I just remind myself how hard it was.

September 11, 2007

On September 11 we went to a local memorial. Damon got to see lots of cool stuff.

Helicopter

I think Tyler is trying to instill his love of flying things in Damon.
