This boy,

he makes me smile!

Lately Damon is one big infomercial. He really doesn't watch very much T.V., and when he does it is kiddy shows. I am just amazed how many products are for sale during the cartoons and how much Damon absorbes. He is always telling me about some new product that I would just love!

"...it's a lid that fits any bowl, and keeps everything fresh...", "it makes little hamburgers in just min....", "it's a mop that cleans up any mess...!"

Every comment is so funny and you know he is using words that he has only heard there. He almost sells me sometimes, too.

One day we were in Bed Bath and Beyond and there was a product with Billy Mays on it. Damon noticed him right away and broke into another commercial. It makes us laugh. I don't know if this is a sign of problems or a future career. Hopefully neither one!

I think what I love the most is that Damon is thinking of me when he sees these things, and that he is so trusting. He just knows everything they say is as good as they say. One day soon he will learn that things aren't always what they seem.

Wishing....

Life has not slowed down much since the holidays, but it hasn't been very interesting either. I don't have any new pictures to post, but this is the time of year that I wish for a vacation and warm weather. Since I never posted any pictures of the vacation Tyler and I took last summer I thought this might be a good time. So, join me in wishing to be where it is warm.

We had a lot of fun with our friends Steve and Tara. Hope to do it again sometime.

Finally,

I took down all my Christmas stuff, and thought I would recap our fun Holiday!

*Damon finally got to enjoy the hill across the street.

*We played lots of Ping Pong.

*And, Brady, Elise, and Mylee visited, and spent enough time with us that Tyler got a hug before they left (I wasn't sure that would happen when they first arrived).

We had so much fun with our families. I love the New Year but it is hard to say good bye to the Holiday's and know that we still have a lot of winter left. We do have Valentine's Day to look forward to. What is everyone planning? I want some fun ideas!

This weekend

I got to play with Emily's new babies.

Aren't they cute! There names are Eli and Isaac. They weighed 5'15'' and 6'2''. Not bad for twins, 3 weeks early.

We had such a fun break. Sending Damon back to school this week was almost as sad for me as the first week of school. We spent lots of time with family and I can't remember what it is like for the house to be still. It will take some adjustment. I am leaving for the weekend, again, so I wanted to let everybody know I am still alive, but I have so much more catching up to do. I am sure I will have a lot more time in the coming weeks.
